Useful apps, shaped by hand.
Chert Rock Labs is an Arkansas software studio. We design and build our own mobile apps, and we take the time to get them right.
Our apps
Every app here is our own. We design it, build it, run it and support it after launch.
Our first release will be listed here once it is available on the App Store and Google Play.
How we build
A few rules every Chert Rock Labs app follows, from the first sketch to long after release.
- Private by default
Each app collects only what it needs to work, and we do not sell personal information.
- Quick to use
Every screen is built to get you in, done and back to your day in a few taps.
- Supported after launch
Every app gets regular updates, fast fixes and real answers when you reach out.
Why chert
Chert rewards a careful hand. Strike it at the right angle and it releases a clean, curved flake. A skilled knapper studies the stone first, reads its grain, and plans each strike before it lands. Nothing is wasted and nothing is rushed, and what's left is an edge that holds.
Our apps are made the same way: shaped with intent, refined until only what matters remains, and built to last.
